Nereid series draws inspiration from the silent lives of mysterious creatures inhabiting the deep sea—beings unnamed, barely understood, yet persistently growing, floating, and breathing under pressure and current.

The repetitive gesture of crocheting mirrors the rhythm of natural formation. Loops and folds are shaped into tentacle-like or soft-bodied structures, evoking the organic clusters often seen in underwater life.

The deep navy hue speaks not only of oceanic depth, but also of quiet, persistent vitality.
